Candide

I read Random House's 75th anniversary edition with illustrations by Rockwell Kent, publication date, 2002.

Most pages had illustrations, and the beginning of each chapter had a naked ornate person draped over the first letter. Paragraph pauses were naked individuals in various positions. The paper was heavy and the font was nice.

Check out this link for an interesting story.

Discussion on the story soon.

  1. Hee, when I was a kid, it was a big thing to say that you'd moved on to reading "chapter book with no picture!" But as an adult, I love illustrations!
