Ready or not!
Very big on the to-do list is build a cage for the almost new raised bed, soon to be the vegetable patch. Last year with all plants in pots, I was devestated by little furry animals who ate everything, and I mean EVERYTHING!
So this year I cage. I find the barrier method is much more effective than killing or trapping. I've got my plans drawn, and I'm off to the lumber store tomorrow.
I also put up trellises for sweet peas. My local hummingbird buzzed me numerous times wondering if I was a flower.
Nope, Mr. Buzzie. Just wearing a red flannel shirt.
